This is such a fun, hidden gem in Ames. The drinks were great and the staff were very kind. Even on a busy night, you don't have to wait that long for your drinks to be made since the bartender are exceptionally skilled and quick. Make sure to get there a bit early though on the weekend if you want a place to sit for a while.

I had never even heard of this place. How cool is it to have a speakeasy behind a liquor store? The decor and whole ambiance about the place was so awesome!! I went here with a group of people celebrating a 10 week challenge. It would be awesome to go back again!

Wonderful experience. The speak easy is really cool and the door is unsuspecting. The drinks were great. I will go back. EDIT (September, 2023) New favorite drink is the “Goodbye Earl”. It’s seasonal, but I kind of hope they keep it around. It’s the drink in the front of my picture.

This place has awesome cocktails. It’s a “hole in the wall” but not in a dive bar sense, as it has a high quality bar and furnishings. My only complaint is that they don’t clear the tables of previous guests very well, but it’s not a big enough deal to take away from the place. It’s a fun place to hang out and the drinks are special.

An excellent place for a few high end drinks. Excellent liquor selection with a few beers, so something for everyone. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and are will to be creative should you see a spirit you like on the shelf that isn't on the menu.

Great assortment of tasty bourbon. Atmosphere is of a speakeasy’s as entrance is though back room cooler doors. Who would have known of the secret place behind the door.
